For the past few years I have helped my friend Geneve decorate her photo studio for the holidays. It’s in a large, brick factory building called The Button Factory that has been converted into artists work spaces. Every year in early December The Button Factory opens it’s doors for a holiday open house. I really look forward to being a part of this local holiday tradition and checking out all the creative and inspiring arts and crafts.
I love Christmas and always seem to break out the glitter come December so this year I decided to sprinkle Geneve’s space with sparkly glitter pinecones and votive candle holders. The florals were more traditional arrangements with the added twist of lining the vases with birch bark. I also strung some lights in the ceiling and created a lovely white and glowing wall with draped tulle and more white lights. Warm, cozy, fun and a little funky!

Cool post Kate–as you know, I love your work. I cannot tell you how many Button Factory guests (we probably had over 500+ folks walk through) were just in awe of the space! You are always way ahead of the trends and doing your own thing. Geneve
You’re the best. I am always amazed at the beautiful things you create and how you can make any space beautiful.
