Michael and David’s Rockport Maine wedding weekend had all the pieces needed for a magical and memorable celebration. Perfect early summer weather, amazing food, a stunning yet intimate setting, 30 or so of their nearest and dearest and plenty of love! Asking their guests to gather in Maine was a key piece as Rockport Maine has become a second home to the couple and they wanted to share all that they love about Maine with their guests. Fittingly they set the weekend off with a casual cocktail gathering at their house followed by dinner at Salt Water Farm. Family and friends gathered around for fabulous food and drink overlooking the harbor as the day turned to night. The wedding day was a stellar one! The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt at Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel. The reception followed at a private home that was a gem of quintessential New England with a bit of European flair. A sailcloth tent was set on the lovely lawn overlooking the ocean and the schooners sailing by on this perfect Maine day. An alfresco feast was served by Trillium Catering as guests enjoyed the fine weather, good company, teary toasts and plenty of cheers. The gathering lingered into the evening as the fireflies showed up to join the party.
